Spreading on a 2,300 sq m area, Cinema One Laserplex from Aushopping Satu Mare has five cinema halls with 1,000 seats, mall representatives said in a press release.

With the addition of the new space, the total investment in the shopping mall reached 11.5 million euro ($12.8 million).

Ceetrus announced last year that it plans to expand the shopping mall in Satu Mare, in Romania.

Aushopping Satu Mare is a former hypermarket Real which Ceetrus acquired in 2016.

In Romania, Ceetrus began activities in 2012 and currently manages nine commercial centres: Titan and Crangasi in Bucharest, the Auchan Pitesti centre and the former Real galleries from Bucharest, Craiova, Sibiu, Brasov, Bacau and Tirgu Mures.

Formerly known as Immochan, Ceetrus is the real estate division of French retailer Auchan.
