Koleva will manage the development of the brewer's beers and ciders portfolio in line with its global EverGreen strategy for sustainable development and market expansion, Zagorka said in a press release.

In her new role, Koleva will also be responsible for consumer engagement campaigns across various communication channels and will support the brewer's Diversity, Inclusion and Equity (DEI), talent development and employer branding initiatives.

Koleva has 17 years' experience in the FMCG market and is joining Zagorka from Jacobs Douwe Egberts, where she was initially responsible for brands on the Bulgarian market before moving to Copenhagen to be in charge of coffee brands in the Scandinavian countries.

Zagorka was founded in 1902 in the southern Bulgarian city of Stara Zagora. Its portfolio includes local beer brands Zagorka, Ariana and Stolichno, along with Heineken, Amstel, Birra Moretti and Starobrno as well as one cider brand.
