Bulgaria's YTD power output falls 3.76%, consumption flattish

SOFIA (Bulgaria), November 26 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria’s electricity production fell by an annual 3.76% to 39,265 GWh in the January 1 - November 24 period of 2019, according to data from the country's Electricity System Operator (ESO).

Electricity exports decreased 22.93% to 5,399 GWh in the period under review, data from ESO's weekly bulletin showed.

Domestic power consumption edged up 0.21% to 33,867 GWh.

The volume of renewable energy in the transmission system fell 1.52% year-on-year to 1,072 GWh, while the volume of renewable energy in the distribution system rose by 10.48% year-on-year to 1,665 GWh.
