Bulgaria's YTD power output drops 4.86%

December 27 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria’s electricity production fell by an annual 4.86% to 42,994 GWh in the January 1 - December 22 period of 2019, according to data from the country's Electricity System Operator (ESO).

Electricity exports decreased 24.61% to 5,733 GWh in the period under review, data from ESO's weekly bulletin showed.

Domestic power consumption edged down 0.86% to 37,261 GWh.

The volume of renewable energy in the transmission system fell 0.60% year-on-year to 1,164 GWh, while the volume of renewable energy in the distribution system rose by 10.34% year-on-year to 1,777 GWh.
