October 15 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria’s electricity production fell by an annual 2.22% to 34,271 GWh in the January 1 - October 13 period of 2019, according to data from the country's Electricity System Operator (ESO).
Electricity exports decreased 19.24% to 4,665 GWh in the period under review, data from ESO's weekly bulletin showed.
Domestic power consumption added 1.13% to 29,606 GWh.
The volume of renewable energy in the transmission system edged down 1.23% year-on-year to 958 GWh, while the volume of renewable energy in the distribution system rose by 11.52% year-on-year to 1,502 GWh.
