Bulgaria's Vratsa again relaunches 4.7 mln euro tender for purchase of 9 trolleybuses

The project benefits from EU funding under Operational Programme Environment 2014-2020, the company servicing the city of Vratsa said in a tender notice.

The deadline for submitting offers is January 22, 2020.

Bids will be ranked based on price, with 50 weight in the final score, and technical criteria.

In July, Trolleybus Transport - Vratsa opened a procedure for awarding a 9.1 million levs contract for supply of 9 trolleybuses and a 12.7 million levs deal for supply of 13 electric buses. The procedure was cancelled in August, following complaints filed with the Commission for Protection of Competition.

The tender was relaunched in mid-November but subsequently cancelled again in December.
