Turnover from transportation, storage and postal services rose the most - by 39.7% year-on-year - in the April-June period, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) NSI said in a statement, citing preliminary data.
The growth was chiefly driven by a 213.1% surge in air transport, while water transport and warehousing and support activities for transportation grew by 72.6% and 58.4%, respectively.
Turnover from information and communication services went up 17.8% year-on-year in the review period, mainly due to a jump in revenues from motion picture, video and TV programme production, and music and other publishing activities.
Within the other business services segment, the largest annual growth rate compared to the second quarter of 2021 was recorded in travel agency, tour operator and other reservation activities - by 177.7%.
Compared to January-March 2022, the total seasonally-adjusted turnover index in transportation, storage and post rose by 9.8% in the second quarter, while the index in information and communication added 5.4%, NSI data showed.
