The company's revenue surged to 408.6 million levs last year from 245.1 million levs in 2022, TPP Bobov Dol said in an annual financial statement on Tuesday. The increase was primarily driven by product sales, which soared 82% to 378.6 million levs.

The power plant's operating expenses widened to 392.9 million levs from some 228.8 million levs on the back of higher costs for raw materials and other economic expenses.

According to the financial statement, local consortium Energy MK, which bought the power plant in 2008, held a stake of 95.04% as of the end of 2023.

TPP Bobov Dol, established in 2000, is located in the Kyustendil region in southwestern Bulgaria and has an installed capacity of 630 MW.

Shares in the company last traded on Monday when they closed at 27.00 levs on the BaSE market of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, bourse data show.
