Bulgaria's Texim Bank skips dividend for 2019

SOFIA (Bulgaria), September 29 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Texim Bank [BUL:5CP] said that its shareholders have approved the company's plan to skip dividend distribution for 2019, in line with the recommendations of the central bank.

Texim Bank shareholders endorsed the proposal at a general meeting held on September 24, the lender said in a bourse filing on Monday.

The bank's standalone net profit rose to 298,000 levs ($178,000/152,000 euro) in 2019 from 159,000 levs in 2018.

Texim Bank shares last traded on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange at a price of 3.04 levs.

Texim Bank was Bulgaria's 17th largest lender by assets at the end of July, according to central bank data.
