Bulgaria's Starcom Holding cons net profit falls in H1

August 31 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian financial and insurance group Starcom Holding [BUL:S28H] said its consolidated net profit fell to 1.9 million levs ($1.15 million/970,500 euro) in the first half of the year, from 16.7 million levs in the like period of 2016.

The company’s operating revenue rose to 648.5 million levs in January-June, from 517 million levs in the prior year's period, Starcom Holding said in a bourse filing.

Operating costs increased to 595.8 million levs in the period under review, from 462 million levs a year earlier.

The company’s only subsidiary as at end-June was local peer Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:4EH].
