Bulgaria’s Stara Zagora city to launch energy efficiency project – EBRD

October 4 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian city of Stara Zagora will increase the energy efficiency of four public buildings in a project worth 1.35 million euro ($1.74 million), the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), who is co-financing the project, said.

The project will be financed with a grant from the Kozloduy International Decommissioning Support Fund administered by the EBRD and from Stara Zagora's own funds, the lender said in a statement on Wednesday.

Procurement for the project, which also includes management consultancy services, technical assistance and technical supervision of the implementation, is set to start in the fourth quarter of the year.

Stara Zagora is located in southeastern Bulgaria.
