Bulgaria's Stara Zagora awards 3.1 mln euro contract to El Control

October 3 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Stara Zagora municipality said on Thursday that it has awarded a 6 million levs ($3.4 million/3.1 million euro) contract for the construction and maintenance of street lighting to local company El Control.

The deal envisages the maintenance of 20,430 units of street lighting located in the city of Stara Zagora and 51 villages across the municipality, the local authorities said in a notice.

The contract was inked on August 2.

Five companies tabled offers in the public procurement procedure for awarding the contract.
