Bulgaria's Stara Planina Hold to pay 0.16 euro per share gross dividend

June 6 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian diversified group Stara Planina Hold [BUL:SPH] said on Thursday that its shareholders approved a gross dividend payout of 0.31579 levs ($0.18/0.16 euro) per share for 2023, the same amount as a year earlier.

Stara Planina Hold will distribute as dividend a total of 6.54 million levs of its net profit reported for 2023, while the remaining earnings will be retained as undistributed profit, the company said in a bourse filing.

The company booked a standalone net profit of some 9.3 million levs in 2023, compared to 8.1 million levs the prior year, its annual financial statement shows.

The dividend will be disbursed over six months, starting August 1.

Shares in Stara Planina Hold last traded on Tuesday when they closed at 10.60 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, bourse data show.
