Bulgaria's Stara Planina Hold sees 2014 sales up 1.2%

SOFIA (Bulgaria), December 19 (SeeNews) – Bulgarian industrial group Stara Planina Hold [BUL:5SR] said on Friday it expects sales to grow by 1.2% to 180.8 million levs ($113.6 million/92.4 million euro) in 2014.

Sales of Stara Planina Hold's subsidiaries Hydraulic Elements&Systems [BUL:4HE] and M+S Hydraulic [BUL:5MH] are expected to increase by 5.04% and 5.01%, respectively, in the period under review, while those of car battery manufacturer Elhim-Iskra [BUL:52E] are seen falling 1.63%, Stara Planina Hold said in a bourse filing on Tuesday.

M+S Hydraulic’s 2014 pre-tax profit is seen amounting to 12.5 million levs, while that of Hydraulic Elements&Systems (HES ) and Elhim-Iskra is expected to amount to 4.1 million levs and 1.8 million levs, respectively.

In the eleven months, ending November, Stara Planina’s consolidated sales rose by 2.01% year-on-year to 169 million levs as in November alone they amounted to nearly 14.9 million levs. Sales of M+S Hydraulic were 5.13% higher in January-November, while those of HES jumped 6.88%. Elhim-Iskra's sales declined by 1.53% in the period under review.
