Bulgaria's Speedy plans 2.94 euro/share dividend for 2023

May 28 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian parcel delivery company Speedy [BUL:SPDY] said on Tuesday that it is asking its shareholders to endorse a gross dividend payout of 5.75 levs ($3.19/2.94 euro) per share for 2023.

The company plans to distribute as dividend a total of 30.9 million levs out of its net profit of some 37 million levs reported for last year, Speedy said in a bourse filing. The remaining part of the earnings would be retained.

The proposal will be voted upon at a general meeting of shareholders on June 28.

Speedy distributed a gross dividend of 5.25 levs per share for 2022, or 28.2 million levs in total, according to previously disclosed data.

As of 1500 CEST on Tuesday, shares in Speedy traded flat at 166.00 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
