October 1 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Sopharma Trading [BUL:SO5] said on Thursday it finalised the acquisition of local pharmacy chains SCS Franchise and Sanita Franchising, which operate a total of 150 pharmacies across the country.
The newly-acquired pharmacies will be integrated into Sopharma Trading's SOpharmacy brand, the pharmaceuticals trader said in a bourse filing.

The deal was approved by the Commission for Protection of Competition in July and by Sopharma Trading's shareholders last month.
Shares in the company closed 0.93% lower at 5.35 levs ($3.21/2.74 euro) on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange on Thursday.
Sopharma Trading is a unit of local drug maker Sopharma [BUL:3JR].
