Bulgaria's Sopharma Trading H1 cons net profit edges down

August 30 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian drug distributor Sopharma Trading [BUL:SO5] said on Wednesday its consolidated net profit fell to 5.2 million levs ($1.9 million/1.7 million euro) in the first half of 2017, from 5.6 million levs in the like period of 2016.

The company’s sales revenue rose to 326.7 million levs in the period under review, from 297.4 million levs last year, Sopharma Trading said in a bourse filing.

Cost of goods sold increased to 301.26 million levs in January-June, from 274.8 million levs in the corresponding period of 2016.

Sopharma Trading is a unit of Bulgarian pharmaceuticals producer Sopharma [BUL:3JR].
