The dividend will be distributed starting January 22, 2024, Sopharma said in a bourse filing. Equity owners registered with the Central Depository as of December 8 will have the right to receive dividend.

The company will pay out up to 150 million levs in total to its shareholders, allocated from its net profit reported for January-June and additional reserves, it said earlier.

The proposal was approved at an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders on November 24.

Earlier this month, Sopharma said it received clearance from the Serbian competition authority for the staggered acquisition of Serbian peer Pharmanova.

As of 1340 CET on Friday, shares in Sopharma traded 0.28% higher at 7.20 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
