Bulgaria's Sopharma to buy back 150,000 own shares on Dec 11

December 11 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian pharmaceuticals producer Sopharma [BUL:SFA] said that it intends to repurchase 150,000 own shares on December 11.

Sopharma will pay 6.10 levs ($3.35/3.11 euro) per share, the company said in a bourse filing after close of trading on Friday.

The transaction is another stage of the share buyback programme approved by Sopharma shareholders in August.

The company also earlier announced plans to repurchase 200,000 own shares on December 8, priced at 6.10 levs apiece.

Last week, Sopharma bought back 66,000 own shares at an average price of 7.12 levs.

As at 1001 CET on Monday, Sopharma shares traded 0.98% lower at 6.08 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, bourse data showed.
