Bulgaria's Sopharma buys back 66,000 own shares

December 5 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian pharmaceuticals maker Sopharma [BUL:SFA] said it bought back 66,000 own shares at an average price of 7.12 levs ($3.96/3.64 euro) apiece on December 1 as part of a buyback programme.

The stock, repurchased for 469,600 levs in total on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, represents 0.0382% of Sopharma's equity capital, the company said in a bourse filing on Monday.

Following the transaction, the owned shares held by Sopharma amount to 13,544,336, equal to a 7.85% stake in the company.

Shares in Sopharma last traded on Monday when they closed at 7.14 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, bourse data show.
