Bulgaria's Sirma Group proposes 0.01 euro/share dividend for 2023

May 20 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian software developer Sirma Group Holding [BUL:SGH] said on Monday that it is seeking shareholder approval for the distribution of a gross dividend of 0.02 levs ($0.011/0.010 euro) per share for 2023.

Sirma Group plans to allocate the dividend from its after-tax profit of some 1.51 million levs reported for last year, the company said in a bourse filing. Of the remaining earnings, some 150,841 levs would go towards the company's reserve fund, while the rest would be retained as undistributed profit.

Sirma's equity capital is currently divided into 59,360,518 shares of 1 lev in par value each, which would represent a total dividend payout of some 1.19 million levs.

The proposal will be put to the vote at a general meeting of shareholders scheduled for June 27.

Last year, Sirma Group paid out a gross dividend of 0.0339 levs per share for 2022, or 1.96 million levs in total, after disbursing 0.015 levs per share for the first half of the year, or a total of 889,135 levs, according to previously disclosed information.

As of 0935 CEST on Monday, shares in Sirma Group Holding traded 2.26% higher at 0.905 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
