April 5 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's output in services, except trade and financial and insurance activities, went up by 3.3% year-on-year in January, following an annual rise of 0.7% in December, the statistical office said on Friday, quoting preliminary data.
On a seasonally-adjusted monthly comparison basis, total production in the services sector grew by 0.8% in January, following a revised increase of 0.6% the prior month, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) said in a monthly report.
The highest annual rise was posted in the output of accommodation and food service activities, at 8.4%, followed by administrative and support service activities with a 6.7% climb. In contrast, real estate activities registered a production decline of 3.6% on the year, while professional, scientific and technical activities output fell by 2.4%.
In monthly terms, output in administrative and support service activities grew the most, by 12.1%, whereas real estate activities production lost 3.7%.
