Bulgaria’s Septemvri municipality gets 4.6 mln euro for wastewater treatment plant

SOFIA (Bulgaria), November 21 (SeeNews) – Bulgaria’s Septemvri municipality signed a 9.0 million levs ($7.0 million/4.6 million euro) grant agreement for the construction of a wastewater treatment plant, the country’s environment ministry said on Wednesday.

The financing is provided under Operational Programme Environment funded by the EU, the ministry said in a statement.

The municipality of Septemvri is located 90 kilometres south of the capital Sofia.
