Bulgaria’s Salvamed wraps up 1.0 mln euro factory upgrade – econ min

SOFIA (Bulgaria), October 2 (SeeNews) – Bulgarian medical bandages producer Salvamed has completed a 2.0 million lev ($1.3 million/1.0 million euro) upgrade of its factory in the town of Sandanski, the economy ministry said on Tuesday.

Half of the investment was financed from a grant from the EU operational programme Competitiveness, the economy ministry said in a press release.

Salvamed, a member of Italy's Luigi Salvadori Group, produces pure cotton gauze and no-woven lap sponges and swabs.
