Bulgaria's Rock 7 to invest 3.5 mln euro in stone wool plant - econ min

December 1 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian building materials manufacturer Rock 7 will invest some 6.8 million levs ($4.2 million/3.5 million euro) in the construction of a plant for production of stone wool insulation, the economy ministry said.

The plant, to be located in Targovishte municipality in northeastern Bulgaria, will create 49 new jobs, the ministry said in a statement on Monday.

According to the statement, the plant will have an annual production capacity of 10,000 tonnes of rock wool insulation made from basalt.

Targovishte-based Rock 7 was established in 2018, according to commercial register data.
