Mini Maritsa Iztok’s press office could not provide any information on the matter when contacted by SeeNews.

The project, financed under the Kozloduy International Decommissioning Support Fund (KIDSF), envisions the improvement of the energy efficiency of the company’s heavy mining equipment, news portal Dnevnik (www.dnevnik.bg) reported.

This is the second out of three projects for energy efficiency rehabilitation at the mine, financed with a total of 21.5 million euro under the KIDSF. The grant is equal to 70% of the total sum, and the rest is provided from own resources.
