Under the agreement, Nipo-Electronics will provide toll collection services based on the distance travelled using onboard devices and GPS trackers, the RIA said in a press release.
Nipo-Electronics must pass a series of tests in the span of a year as part of the integration process before the contract becomes operational.
The deal marks the RIA's fourth contract for electronic toll services, following partnerships with Intelligent Traffic Systems, Digitoll Smart Infrastructure and Toll Bulgaria, the agency said.
