Production of solid fuels marked the steepest yearly fall, of 64.5% to 989,000 tonnes, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) said in a regular data release. It also posted the largest monthly drop, at 36.5%.
In comparison, petrol output posted the highest annual rise, at 20.7% to 140,000 tonnes, while production of liquefied petroleum gases (LPG) marked the largest monthly increase, at 25% to 5,000 tonnes.
Bulgaria's total output of oil products grew by 15.5% on the year to 543,000 tonnes in February, which also represented a 3.8% climb month-on-month.
In terms of energy products deliveries, solid fuels recorded the biggest annual fall, at 60.2% to 1.03 million tonnes, and the steepest monthly decline, at 36.5%.
On an annual basis, deliveries increased only for petrol, by 28.2% to 50,000 tonnes.
There were no monthly increases reported for any of the energy products observed in the review month.
Overall deliveries of oil products were 8.6% lower than in January and 8.6% lower compared to February 2023, at 317,000 tonnes, the data from NSI showed.
