Production of liquefied petroleum gases (LPG) marked the steepest yearly fall, of 50% to 3,000 tonnes, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) said in a regular data release. It also posted the largest monthly drop, at 25%.
Bulgaria's total output of oil products grew by 9.9% on the year to 567,000 tonnes in December, the same volume as a month earlier.
In terms of energy products deliveries, solid fuels recorded the biggest annual fall, at 30.6% to 2.25 million tonnes, which represented a monthly jump of 16.5%.
On an annual basis, deliveries increased only for natural gas, by 4.3% to 292 million cubic metres (mcm), and electricity, by 4% to 3,399 GWh.
The largest monthly rise was in the delivery of LPGs, at 25.7% to 44,000 tonnes.
Deliveries of oil products were 14.7% lower than in November and 19.6% lower compared to December 2022, at 332,000 tonnes, the data from NSI showed.
