Bulgaria's Port Flot-Burgas boosts net profit 47% in 2023

January 25 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian port towage services company Port Flot-Burgas [BUL:PFB] said on Thursday that its non-consolidated net profit grew to 2.1 million levs ($1.2 million/1.1 million euro) in 2023 from some 1.5 million levs the previous year.

The company's revenue climbed to 10.8 million levs last year from 10 million levs in 2022, Port Flot-Burgas said in a financial statement. Of that, 9.3 million levs were generated from sales of services, compared to 8.7 million levs a year earlier.

Operating expenses slightly rose to 8.44 million levs in the review period from 8.41 million levs in 2022, with costs for hired services adding an annual 32% to 2.7 million levs.

The company's assets amounted to some 49.1 million levs at the end of 2023, up from 47 million levs at end-2022.

Shares in Port Flot-Burgas last traded on Tuesday when they closed at 7.00 levs on the BaSE market of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, bourse data show.
