Bulgaria's Port Fleet 99 raises net profit 30% in 2023

January 25 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian ship towage company Port Fleet 99 [BUL:PF99] said on Thursday that its standalone net profit increased to some 3 million levs ($1.7 million/1.5 million euro) last year from 2.3 million levs in 2022.

The company's total operating revenue climbed by an annual 14% to 11.4 million levs in 2023, Port Fleet 99 said in a financial statement. Sales of services went up to 10.8 million levs from 9.5 million levs.

At the same time, Port Fleet 99's expenses grew by 9% year-on-year to 8.1 million levs in the review period, chiefly due to a 35% jump in costs for hired services.

Port Fleet 99 is active in harbour towage and manoeuvring of ships, sea towage and cargo handling services.

Shares in Port Fleet 99 last traded on January 9 when they closed at 8.20 levs on the BaSE market of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, bourse data show.
