December 8 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian fertiliser producer Neochim [BUL:NEOH] said that it will start gradually shutting down production facilities from December 31 in order to carry out mandatory technical check-ups and testing of pressurised equipment.
All facilities will fully cease operation by January 2, with maintenance and repairs to be conducted as well during the outage period, Neochim said in a bourse filing on Thursday.
The company expects to be ready to resume production at its ammonium nitrate plant by the end of February 2024, it added.
The fertiliser maker had to halt production several times this year. Most recently, its ammonia unit resumed production on August 20 after a two-week shutdown.
By 1034 CET on Friday, shares in Neochim were trading 1.54% lower at 25.60 levs ($14.11/13.08 euro) on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
