Bulgaria's Mur Invest grows stake in CBA Asset Management

November 27 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's CBA Asset Management [BUL:CBAM] said on Monday that its shareholder Mur Invest increased its stake by 2.4 percentage points to 20.7%.

Mur Invest, a local investment firm, purchased 48,455 shares in CBA Asset Management on November 17, bringing its total shareholding interest to 418,306 units, CBA Asset Management said in a bourse filing. Shares in CBA Asset Management closed at 1.30 levs ($0.73/0.66 euro) on the day of the transaction, bourse data show.

CBA Asset Management's consolidated net profit net profit rose to 400,000 levs in January-September from 185,000 levs in the same period of 2022.

The company's shares have gained in value by a little over 47% in the past year for a market capitalisation of some 2.63 million levs.

Shares in CBA Asset Management last traded on November 23 when they closed at 1.30 levs on the BaSE market of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, bourse data show.
