Bulgaria's M+S Hydraulic expects 41% y/y drop in Jan-May sales

May 22 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian hydraulic equipment manufacturer M+S Hydraulic [BUL:MSH] expects its sales revenue to come in at some 61.38 million levs ($34.1 million/31.4 million euro) in the first five months of 2024, it said on Wednesday.

In the four months through April, M+S Hydraulic booked a preliminary gross profit of 6.2 million levs on sales of 50.74 million levs, the company said in a bourse filing.

Turnover in April alone came in at some 11.94 million levs, while gross profit totalled 1.41 million levs.

The company previously posted sales of some 104.5 million levs in January-May 2023.

M+S Hydraulic is an affiliate of local diversified group Stara Planina Hold [BUL:SPH].

As of 1033 CEST on Wednesday, shares in M+S Hydraulic traded 6.14% lower at 10.70 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
