November 30 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian textile company Mak [BUL:MAK] said that its consolidated net profit dropped to 1.09 million levs ($576,500/557,300 euro) in the first nine months of 2022 from 4.22 million levs in the like perid a year earlier due to lower income.
The company’s revenue decreased to 16.01 million levs in the nine months through September from 24.3 million levs in the comparable period of 2021. Domestic sales in the review period rose to 8.1 million levs from 4.6 million levs, but sales abroad plunged to 7.21 million levs from 19.2 million levs.
Operating expenses fell to 14.9 million levs from 20.01 million levs.
Shares in Mak last traded at 31.20 levs on the BaSE market of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, bourse data show.
Gabrovo-based Mak specialises in the production of police, firefighter and military uniforms. It has a portfolio of over 400 products, including healthcare garments.
