Bulgaria’s Knezha seeks bids for 9.8 mln euro water cycle project – TED

November 5 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian municipality of Knezha is inviting bids for construction and rehabilitation of its water cycle infrastructure in a project with indicative cost of 19.2 million levs ($12.6 million/9.8 million euro), the EU's procurement journal announced on Monday.

The value of the contract does not include value added tax.

The project involves replacement of 11 kilometres of water pipelines, upgrades on the existing sewerage infrastructure and its extension as well as construction of a waste water treatment plant, reads the notice published in the Tenders Electronic Daily (TED).

Construction works are due to be completed within 24 months after the contract is awarded. The performance guarantee is set at 95,000 levs.

Bids must be submitted by December 13 and will be opened on the next day.

Knezha is located in northern Bulgaria, in the Pleven region.
