February 27 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian investment firm ImPulse Growth [BUL:IMP], formerly Impulse I, said on Tuesday that it registered a net profit of 1.58 million levs ($876,668/807,838 euro) from fair value changes of financial assets in 2023, according to preliminary data.
ImPulse Growth booked a pretax profit of 1.57 million levs last year, the company said in a stock exchange filing.
At the end of 2023, the firm's assets stood at 7.94 million levs, of which some 7.5 million levs were in financial assets and 436,000 levs in cash.
In contrast, the investor posted a net loss from fair value changes of 421,000 levs and a pretax loss of 433,000 levs in 2022, according to previously disclosed information. As of December 31, 2022, the company’s assets amounted to 6.35 million levs.
The value of ImPulse's investments in companies traded on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange totalled some 1.44 million levs at the end of last year.
As of end-2023, the firm's positions in its ImVenture I and ImVenture II funds were valued at 384,000 levs and 5.68 million levs, respectively.
As of 1330 CET on Tuesday, shares in ImPulse Growth traded 3.73% higher at 1.39 levs on the BEAM growth market of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
