Bulgaria’s Herti 9-mo net profit edges up

SOFIA (Bulgaria), October 25 (SeeNews) – Bulgarian bottle cap manufacturer Herti [BUL:HTV] said on Wednesday its net profit edged up to 562,000 levs ($338,600/287,100 euro) in the first nine months of 2017 from 548,000 levs in the like period of last year.

The company’s revenue rose to 27.9 million levs in the January-September period, compared to 25.5 million levs in the corresponding period of 2016, Herti said in a statement.

Expenses for materials increased to 19.4 million levs in the review period from 16.1 million levs the year before.

Personnel expenses rose to 5.1 million levs in the first nine months of the year from 4.6 million levs in the comparable period of 2016.

Established in 1993, Herti currently produces over 1 billion bottle caps per year.
