November 24 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's gross foreign debt totalled 36.558 billion euro ($54.632 billion) at the end of September, 1.1% down from the end of 2008, the central bank said on Tuesday.
At the end of September, Bulgaria's gross foreign debt was equivalent to 109.2% of the country's gross domestic product projected for 2009, the central bank said in a statement.
Bulgaria's long-term foreign debt was 24.159 billion euro and short-term debt totalled 12.398 billion euro at the end of September.
