During the third quarter of the year, maintaining the trend of the first two quarters, domestic demand was the driving force, contributing to a year on year increase of 1.9%, Raiffeisenbank Bulgaria said in its analysis.
"Unlike the previous two quarters, however, during the third [quarter] external demand [was] kept in check because in the July-September period exports significantly shrank,“ Emil Kalchev, Raiffeisenbank Bulgaria's economic analyst, was quoted as saying.
