Bulgaria's Financial Regulator Licenses Balkan Securities as Investment Intermediary

SOFIA (Bulgaria), July 1 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria’s financial regulator said on Tuesday it licensed Balkan Securities as an investment intermediary.

Balkan Securities is fully owned by Bulgaria-registered real estate management intermediary GFN Investments, the Financial Supervision Commission said in a statement.

There are nearly 80 investment intermediaries in Bulgaria.

Bulgaria's stock market has been developing fast in the last few years partly due to the country's entry to the European Union in January 2007.
