Consortium 9 Shunter, the sole bidder in a separate procedure for the supply and 15-year maintenance of nine electric shunters for use in partially electrified depots, was disqualified as its offer did not meet the technical requirements of the tender, the transport ministry said in its decision published in the public procurement register last week. Consequently, this lot of the public tender has been cancelled, the ministry added.

The consortium was made up of Germany's Vossloh Rolling Stock and Chinese company CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive.
