Bulgaria's Energo-Pro Grids awards two cables, conductors supply deals to local cos - TED

SOFIA (Bulgaria), December 18 (SeeNews) – Bulgarian power distributor Energo-Pro Grid [BUL:2EG] has awarded two contracts for supply of power distribution cables and conductors at a total value of 2.75 million levs ($1.7 million/1.4 million euro) to local companies, a notice in the European Union’s procurement journal indicated on Thursday.

Local company Filkab has been awarded a 154,500 lev contract while Frisardi has been awarded a 2.6 million lev contract, the notice published in the Tenders Electronic Daily (TED) showed.

The value of the contracts does not include value added tax.

The permit area of Energo-Pro Grid, majority-owned by Energo-Pro Bulgaria, itself a wholly-owned subsidiary of Czech power group Energo-Pro, covers nearly 30,000 square kilometers in Northeastern Bulgaria. The company operates and maintains an electricity distribution grid with length totaling 42,185 kilometers as well as 26 substations.
