December 1 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Electrodistribution North, a unit of local utility Energo-Pro Varna, has completed a 160,000 levs ($85,250/81,807 euro) project for reconstruction of the power grid in Varna region, the parent company said on Thursday.
The investment included the reconstruction of two overhead power lines and a low-voltage overhead network in the village of Dobroplodno, Energo-Pro Varna said in a statement.
In October, Energo-Pro said that its subsidiary invested over 300,000 levs in the construction of a new power distribution network in an area north of the city of Varna.
According to a statement from April, Electrodistribution North plans to spend around 13 million levs on the overhaul of the electricity grid of Varna region. The funds will be invested in the construction of new infrastructure and the rehabilitation of existing networks in the region.
