The company paid back 2.3 million euro ($2.7 million) to the lender, of which 1.4 million euro was an early repayment on the loan’s tranche A, Elana Agrocredit said in a statement.

The company has thus settled one of its highest interest loans and can benefit from the loan’s second tranche, of 2.5 million euro, under more favourable conditions, the statement reads.

In July, Elana Agrocredit [BUL:0EA] said it plans to issue a 7 million euro 63-month bond with an annual coupon of 3.2%.
