October 24 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian financial leasing company Elana Agrocredit [BUL:0EA] said that its net profit increased to 2.5 million levs ($1.4 million/1.3 million euro euro) in the first nine months of 2019 from 1.3 million levs in the same period of 2018, backed by a sharp rise in revenue.
Elana Agrocredit's revenue more than doubled to 8.0 million levs in the January-September period of 2019 from 3.6 million levs in the comparable period of 2018, the company said in an interim financial statement earlier this week.
The company's expenses grew to 5.2 million levs in the review period from 1.4 million levs the year before, on the back of a rise in cost of goods sold.
Elana Agrocredit's assets fell to 59.6 million levs at the end of June from 64.1 million levs a year earlier.
