Bulgaria's Donev Investments Holding increases stake in Sopharma

September 23 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian drug maker Sopharma [BUL:3JR] said on Wednesday that local Donev Investments Holding increased its interest in the company through several deals on the regulated market of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange on September 21.

Donev Investment Holding bought 15,500 shares in Sopharma in deals priced at 3.14 levs ($1.88/1.61 euro) per share, the drug manufacturer said in a bourse filing.

The 15,500 shares are equal to 0.011% interest in Sopharma.

Donev Investment Holding is owned by Sopharma's CEO Ognyan Donev. In a separate statement on Wednesday, Sopharma said that Donev bought 15,428 shares in Sopharma through deals at a weighted average price of 3.13 levs also on September 21.

Indirectly, Ognyan Donev is the biggest shareholder in Sopharma, as he controls a 25.7% stake through Donev Investments Holding. Donev is also a major shareholder in Sopharma's second-biggest shareholder - Telecomplect Invest. Telecomplect Invest controls 20.7% interest in Sopharma.

As at 12:45 CET on Wednesday, Sopharma shares traded at 3.14 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, unchanged from their previous closing price.
