The highest-priced deal, for the supply of jet fuel worth some 3.9 million levs, was signed with Insa Oil on December 11, the defence ministry said in a notice published on the website of the public procurement agency last week. Insa Oil submitted the sole offer in the tender for the awarding of the contract.

The ministry signed two other contracts with Insa Oil - for the delivery of gas oil and motor fuel, while Saksa was awarded two contracts for the supply of diesel fuel.

Rakovski-based Insa Oil is specialised in the production of petroleum products. Saksa, based in the town of Dolna Banya, is mainly active in the distribution of fuels.
