Bulgaria's Corpbank Posts 13.6 Mln Euro in Jan-Aug Net Profit

September 23 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Corporate Commercial Bank (Corpbank) on Tuesday posted a net profit of 26.6 million levs ($20.1 million/13.6 million euro) for the first eight months of the year.

The bank's loans and other receivables totalled 1.3 billion levs at the end of August, while its total assets stood at 1.8 billion levs, Corpbank said in a filing with the Bulgarian Stock Exchange’s information servie X3 News.

The bank’s deposit portfolio totalled 1.6 billion levs at the end of August.

No comparative figures were immediately available.

Corpbank said earlier this year it has almost doubled its first-half net profit to 20.4 million levs.

Shares in Corpbank, part of the SOFIX blue-chip index of the Sofia bourse, closed 0.77% lower at 89.20 levs on Tuesday.
