Bulgaria’s Chimimport 9-mo non-cons net profit falls 11.6%

October 30 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian industrial group Chimimport [BUL:6C4] said on Tuesday its non-consolidated net profit fell by an annual 11.6% to 53.87 million levs ($35.7 million/27.5 million euro) in the first nine months of 2012.

Net income from financial operations declined to 25.84 million levs through September from 28.74 million levs a year earlier, Chimimport said in a statement filed with the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE).

Its net interest income soared 63.3% on the year to 15.03 million levs in the January-September period.

Earnings per share fell to 0.36 levs through September from 0.40 levs in the same period last year.

Blue chip Chimimport last traded 1.51% lower at 0.78 levs in a volume of just 73 shares at 1400 GMT on the BSE on Tuesday.
